Otto Addo hands Caleb Ekuban surprise Black Stars call-up

Black Stars coach Otto Addo has named Caleb Ekuban in his 55-man squad for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.

The gaffer has handed a surprise call-up to the attacker ahead of the FIFA Mundial which starts in a few weeks time in Qatar.

Ekuban, who plays for Italy Serie B team has been out of the game since September but has been named in the in the Ghana team by Otto Addo.

Goalkeepers: Jojo Wollacott, Danlad Ibrahim, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Richard Ofori and Lawrence Ati Zigi

Defenders: Denis Odoi, Tariq Lamptey, Alidu Seidu, Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Patrick Kpozo, Ibrahim Imoro, Denis Korsah, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul Mumin, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Stephan Ambrosius, Kasim Adams.

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Idrissu Baba, Edmund Addo, Mubarak Wakaso, Elisha Owusu, Mudasiru Salifu, Salis Abdul Samed, Andre Ayew, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Paintsil, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Kofi-Kyereh, Afriyie Barnieh, Jeffrey Schlupp

Wingers: Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Mohammed Dauda, Ernest Nuamah, Yaw Yeboah, Emmanuel Gyasi, Issahaku Fatawu, Osman Bukari, Ransford Yeboah, Kamal Sowah, Samuel Owusu, Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Joel Fameyeh.
