Otumfuo Osei Tutu II donates GHS100,000 to Asante Kotoko legends

The owner and life patron of Asante Kotoko, His royal majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has made a donation of GHS100,000 to the club’s legends’ fund.

The donation was made when the legends of the club led by Mr. George Kennedy paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene on Friday 11th February, 2022 at the Manhyia Palace.

The reason behind the donation according to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is to help legends of the club come together as one body to help push the growth of the club.

Other former players of the club who joined George Kennedy to the Manhyia Palace included Opoku Nti, Anthony Oduro, Mohammed Odoom, John Banaman, Malik Jabir, Ahmed Rckson, George Asare and Prince Polley.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko currently leads the Ghana Premier League standings with 36 points. They travel to Accra on Sunday to face rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in their 2021/22 week seven outstanding fixture,
