Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has praised his squad for translating belief into results after guiding his team to their first away victory of the 2025–26 Ghana Premier League season. The 1–0 win over Aduana Stars in Dormaa marked a significant milestone for the young side and closed the first half of the campaign on a high note.
The upset against one of the league’s title contenders lifted Vision FC to 11th place on the table, providing valuable breathing room above the relegation zone and instilling confidence in a squad that has struggled on the road throughout the season.
“We’ve always asked them to believe in themselves. This is the youngest team in the Ghana Premier League, so what we needed was belief,” Agyemang said in his post-match interview.
The victory is particularly significant given Vision’s poor away record this season, with Agyemang highlighting the psychological boost it provides.
“So I think that this win will sell our message very well, for them to realize that they should be able to fight not only in home games but also away and get the results,” he added.
For the coach and his young squad, the milestone carries special meaning.
“For us as Vision, our first away win this season is amazing,” Agyemang said, emphasizing the importance of the result for a developing side finding its feet in the top flight.
With renewed confidence and momentum, Vision FC will now look ahead to the second half of the season, hoping to build on the breakthrough performance that could define their 2025–26 campaign.
