Asante Kotoko manager Seydou Zerbo, says the technical team worked on some the club’s attackers to support Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala.
He adds that he was happy his attackers followed his instructions.
In Sunday’s matchday 14 clash, Asante Kotoko walloped Premier League debutants Kotoku Royals 5-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Francis Andy Kumi, however, netted the only consolation goal for Kotoku Royals in the 29th minute.
Steven Mukwala scored his second goal in the 61st minute, Serge Zeze Eric added the fourth goal, and Solomon Sarfo Taylor wrapped up the victory for Kotoko in the 90’+5 minute.
“We dont have much to say like we said we have worked very very hard on some players in the attacking lineup to give support to Mukwala and does what happened,” he told StarTimes.
“Because we practice it and saw that does a problem and at least we put it in play and it worked out. He is a very good player he can hold the ball well and give accurate passes and plays very very well I like it that way,”
