Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi was on target again on Monday night for Gaziantep FK in the Turkish top-flight.
Twumasi, who has been named in Ghana’s squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations double header against South Africa and Sao Tome Principe, converted a 30th minute penalty to give his side a deserving lead against Ankaragucu.
Ilhan Parlak drew the hosts level in the 66th minute.
The former FC Astana star, provided the assist for Papy Djilobodji to score the all-important goal in the 90th minute to seal a 2-1 crucial away victory for the Gazisehir.
Twumasi has so far this season scored five goals with four assists to his credit in the Turkish Super Lig.
He will be hoping to replicate his fine for from club side to the national team when the Black Stars of Ghana open their 2021 Afcon qualifier against South Africa on Thursday 14th November, 2019 at the Cape Coast Stadium
