Veteran football administrator, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has shocked the football community with alarming allegations of receiving death threats from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following his participation in the #SaveGhanaFootball demonstration on February 14, 2024, in Accra.

Grusah, the bankroller of King Faisal, disclosed that since his involvement in the demonstration, aimed at advocating for significant reforms and restructuring of the Ghanaian football system, he has been subjected to threats on his life.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Grusah revealed chilling details of the intimidation tactics employed against him, stating, “People at the GFA have threatened to kill me all because I participated in the demonstration.” His bold disclosure sheds light on the concerning climate of fear and intimidation within the football administration.

Despite the perilous situation he faces, Grusah remains resolute, declaring, “I am prepared to die, and they can kill me,” emphasizing his unwavering commitment to the cause of reform in Ghanaian football.
