The Desert Foxes of Algeria walloped the Black Stars if Ghana by three goals to one on Wednesday evening in a friendly game in Qataras both countries step up preparations for the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
Sportsworldghana brings to you how the Ghanaian players fared over ten.
Abdul Manaf (2)
A very woeful performance from the KAS Eupen keeper. He conceded a cheap goal and was uninspiring between the sticks
Daniel Amartey (4)
Bit jittery at right back though he made some good tackles. Amartey as an orthodox right-back adds nothing to the game as he cannot overlap
Jonathan Mensah (3)
Very quiet on the day and ended up scoring an own goal. He made some good clearance though.
Alexander Djiku(3)
Was virtually out of the game as he played cautiously.
Gideon Mensah (3)
Was responsible for the first goal as Adam Ounas turned inside out to score. He was not bad going forward but defensively he was a suspect
Edmund Addo (5)
Was not a bad debut for the FC Sheriff enforcer he boxed the midfield well as the Algerians scored all their goals from the flanks
Thomas Partey (5)
Was not bad in midfield as he gave some good passes. The Algerians knowing how string the Ghana midfield is, used the wings.
Samuel Owusu (2)
Added nothing to the game, was subbed at half time
Fatawu Issahaku (7)
The teenager had a good game as he tormented the Algerians on the flanks. Unlucky not to have scored ans Mboli saved his goal bound strike.
Joseph Paintsil (7)
Great output from. the Genk winger, he was always dangerous when he had the ball. He was fouled mny times in an outside the Algerian box.
Richmond Boakye (2)
Another poor display, he was substituted after the break.
Subs
Benjamin Tetteh (5)
Showed some glimpses of quality with two shorts in target.
Baba Iddrisu (3)
Came to in but his presence was not much felt in mudfield
Maxwell Abbey Quaye (NA)
