Ghana put up a marvelous performance on Monday afternoon as they defeated South Korea by three goals to two at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.

It was another superb performance for Ghana as they picked up their first maximum points in the Group stage.

Sportsworldghana.com takes a look how the players fares

-Ati Zigi 7

Was excellent on the day pulled three crucial saves to keep Ghana in the game

-Tariq Lamptey 6

Superb in going forward defended gallantly but sometimes the strength eluded him

-Gideon Mensah 6.5

Was fantastic at left back, defended well and assisted Kudus second goal

-Mohammed Salisu 7.5

A pillar at the back, scores Ghana’s opener and was very efficient

–Daniel Amartey 7.5

Was very solid, went for all the crunch tackles as Salisu acted as the sweeper

–Salis Samed 6.5

Had another decent game in defensive midfield. Shielded the back four so we’ll

–Thomas Partey 5

His influence was once again minimal as Salis did all the work

–Mohammed Kudus 9

By far the best player in the Ghana team, scored two sublime goals and was too hot for Korea to handle

–Jordan Ayew 8.5

Provided two assists. Was efficient with his dead balls and crosses from the wings. It was difficult for the South Koreans to handle him

–Inaki Williams 6

Had a quiet game but was very useful in the final 15 minutes of the game with his good hold up play

–Andre Ayew 6.5

Had another good game, enjoyed a free role in the Ghana midfield

Subs

–Denis Odoi 6
His experience was needed very much at the time Ghana was leading and the South Koreans were threatening to equalize. Did well with some quality tackles

–Baba Rahman 6

Replaced injured Gideon Mensah in extra time and cleared a goal bound shot with his head to deny Korea the equalizer

–Kamaldeen Sulemana 5
Did not see much of the ball when he came into the game in the 77th minute

–Daniel Kofi Kyereh 6
He made some surging runs and also tracked back to defend

-Alexander Djiku 6
Brought stability to the back as Ghana decided to play five. Defender gallantly with some good clearances.
