Sporting CP midfielder, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has revealed that playing against Tottenham in the Champions League is a dream come true.
The Ghanaian was brought on as Sporting drew 1-1 with Tottenham in England, setting up a potentially nerve-racking matchday six tie.
After the game, he revealed his pride.
“The game against Tottenham was a big game and I am so happy that I was a part of this game. It was a dream for me and it came true so I am really happy,” he stated as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.
Issahaku is also happy with his development so far after joining the club earlier this season.
“Gradually. It’s very good and with the coach and everything in the team is perfect for me. I am very happy with my development in the club.”
He will be looking to secure a place in the Black Stars for the 2022 World Cup.
