Portuguese giant Sporting CP sends Ghanaian sensation Issahaku Abdul Fatawu back to Team B

Ghanaian young forward Issahaku Abdul Fatawu has been sent back to the youth team of Portuguese giant Sporting CP Lisbon ahead of the 2022-23 season, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

 

According to the information available to sportsworldghana.com, the technical team arrived at this decision purely to give the youngster enough playing time, something he wouldn’t be assured with the first team.

According to trusted sources to the technical team reveal Issahaku alongside six other young players namely; Dário Essugo, Youssef Chermiti, Diego Callai and Flávio Nazinho will now primarily be with the B team but will also be given opportunities to appear in the first team when necessary.

 

 

He was part of the Green and Whites outfit during their pre-season training camp ahead of the start of the 2022-23 season which kick-start on August 6th.

 

He signed for Sporting CP on a five-year contract with a further one year renewal option after shining in the Ghana Premier League on at Dreams FC from Steadfast FC.
