President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has congratulated the senior national team of Ghana, Black Stars following their historic 4th qualification to the World Cup.
Ghana overcame Nigeria secure qualification to represent Africa after drawing 1-1 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday evening after a goalless first leg in Kumasi.
“Warm congratulations to the Senior National Football Team, the Black Stars, for their dogged display in Abuja, and qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. I am very proud of the team’s exploits. They have made the entire nation proud”, he Tweeted.
Ghana President who was overwhelmed with the performance of the Stars could not hide his excitement and pleasure to see Ghana qualify to the FIFA Mundial under his watch.
