Despite initial struggles in the group phase, Ivory Coast astonished the continent by clinching the 34th edition of AFCON.
In a thrilling final against Nigeria, the Elephants clinched their third title, overcoming an early deficit to secure victory with goals from Franck Kessie and Sebastien Haller. Interim coach Emerse Fae, credited for steering the team to glory, is awarded €150,000, while the entire technical team receives €600,000. Each player is granted €76,000 for their outstanding performance.
Additionally, the victorious Elephants claim $7 million in prize money, with Nigeria awarded $4 million by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
