Cameroon will today lock horns with AFCON debutants Guinea-Bissau as second round of fixtures in Group A continues with both Guinea-Bissau and Cameroon eyeing a first win of the tournament.
A 91st minute goal by defender Juary Soares to cancel out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s opener was enough to snatch a point for the Africa Cup of nations new boys – but the question still remains whether or not they can make it out of the group stage, they face a wounded Cameroon side, who were held to a 1-1 draw in their first game and are in dire need of all 3 points if they are to qualify to the next stage.
Beşiktaş forward, Vincent Aboubakar will make his way back into the team, with the indomitable lions hoping for him to bang in the goals.
Coach of Cameroon, Hugo Broos believes he has an ambitious team who are ready to fight.
“The history of the Nations Cup always throws up surprises. There is no game you go into with the feeling you can win it”, said Broos.
“We want to get the quarter-finals and rhen we will see what we can do from there.My team is ready. I know they are an ambitious group and seeking to restore the history that Cameroon had in this competition before”.

Striker Vincent Aboubakar, Clinton N’Jie are the players to watch in the Cameroon camp, with midfield duo of Zezinho and Bocundji Ca are those from the Guinea-Bissau camp.
