A member of the Ghana Football Association Medical Team Dr. Prince Pambo says Baba Rahman is likely to suffer cruciate ligament injury as the defender was carried off on a stretcher during Group D AFCON game against Uganda .
The left-back suffered a knee problem during the Black Stars opening 1-0 win over the Cranes on Tuesday.
The Black Stars player is set to undergo a medical tests at Gabonese capital Libreville to determined the extent of the injury.
“From my point of view, Baba Rahman is likely to suffer a cruciate ligament injury,”the medical expert told Radio VISA.
“He is likely to miss the rest of the AFCON 2017 games.”
Ghana will play Group opponents Mali on 21 January and Egypt on 25 January.
