Ghanaian winger Prince Ampem was among the scorers as Shanghai Port produced a commanding 4–0 victory over Wuhan Three Towns in Round 8 of the Chinese Super League at the SAIC Motor Pudong Arena.
The 28-year-old made an immediate impact after the break, scoring just one minute into the second half to double Shanghai Port’s lead, with Zhurun Liu providing the assist.
Zhen Wei had earlier opened the scoring in the 15th minute after being set up by Mateus Vital, giving the home side a strong early advantage. The dominance continued as Tyias Browning added a third goal in the 58th minute before Liu capped off the emphatic performance with a fourth in the 77th minute.
Ampem has now featured in six matches in the 2026 Chinese Super League season, registering one goal and one assist in 355 minutes of action. The versatile winger has become a useful attacking option since joining Shanghai Port on loan.
Shanghai Port will now turn their attention to their next league fixture, an away trip to face Qingdao Hainiu on Saturday, May 2, 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 11:00 AM.
