Medeama SC defender, Vincent Atinga has credited Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah and Maxwell Konadu for his ability to take penalty kicks without failure.

He said Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah who’s the Ghana Football Association’s Director of Coaching Education for a period of two years is the reason he takes good penalty kicks.

According to him, the Professor and Legon Cities FC head coach Maxwell Konadu have helped him a lot to sharpen his abilities to take spot kicks.

Vincent Atinga on Abusua Sports: “I will credit my penalty taking abilities to Prof. Mintah and Maxwell Konadu. They thought me a lot about how to take penalties. Penalties can be learned and if you learn, you will know how to take it.”

He ended the season as the Best Penalty Taker in the just ended 2021-22 Ghana Premier League campaign with six successful spot kicks
