Prosper Ogum’s representative, Asante Fokuo has revealed the Prosper Narteh Ogum will not make a switch to Hearts of Oak.
Ogum led Asante Kotoko to the league title in the 2021/22 season but left the club shortly afterwards after a disagreement with management.
He has been linked with Hearts of Oak, whose position is vacant after Samuel Boadu exited but Fokuo has ruled a move out.
Speaking to Onua TV, Asante Fokuo said, “For now, coach Ogum wouldn’t go to Hearts. He thinks the timing and atmosphere aren’t good for him now. He is a professional coach and just left Kotoko so wouldn’t want to join Hearts.”
He further disclosed that although there are a lot of clubs on the continent interested in the services of his client, they are not in a hurry to accept an offer.
“There are lots of clubs in Africa that are chasing and will accept an offer at an appropriate time,” Asante Fokuo added.
Ogum is currently without a club.
