Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has revealed his starting lineup for the Black Stars’ international friendly against Wales, with Switzerland-based goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi selected to start in goal.
The match will mark Queiroz’s first appearance in the dugout since taking over the team in April, replacing Otto Addo.
In defence, Jonas Adjetey, Jerome Opoku, Gideon Mensah and Marvin Senaya have been named as the back four tasked with keeping things tight at the back.
The midfield will be anchored by Thomas Partey and Elisha Owusu, providing control and balance in the centre of the park. On the flanks, Abdul Fatawu and Kamaldeen Sulemana will offer pace and creativity.
In attack, captain Jordan Ayew will lead the line alongside Prince Adu Kwabena as Ghana look to test their options ahead of the upcoming World Cup campaign.
The friendly forms part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Black Stars are drawn in Group L, where they will face Panama, England and Croatia in the group stage.
