Black Stars forward Antoine Semenyo has stated that the Black Stars are eager to upset Portugal on Thursday and FIFA ranking is just a number.
He stated this on the back of Saudi Arabia’s shock 2-1 win over Argentina in Group C.
“Anything can happen and obviously today’s game between Saudi Arabia and Argentina is clear of that but i think the ranking is just a number. it doesn’t actually mean anything so we are going to show the world that we’re not the underdogs,” he told CGTN.
Ghana have been drawn against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
