Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer has received a late call-up to the Ghana national football team squad as preparations intensify for the upcoming international friendlies in Europe.
The forward, who plays for Hamburger SV, has been rewarded for his impressive performances in the Bundesliga this season. Königsdörffer has registered 9 goals and 4 assists, underlining his attacking threat and consistency in front of goal.
His inclusion adds more depth and pace to Ghana’s attack as the technical team fine-tunes the squad ahead of the crucial test matches.
Ghana will take on the Austria national football team in Vienna on Friday at 5:00pm, before traveling to Stuttgart to face the Germany national football team on Monday at 6:45pm.
The matches form part of the Black Stars’ preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as the team continues to build cohesion and assess player performance at the highest level.
