The incredible performances of Ghana attacker Kingsley Sarfo with APOEL, has placed him in the category of playmakers with the top performances in 32 European championships.

This is according to the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post, which is based on data generated by the leading statistical service InStat.

In the latest update from CIES, the players in the 32 European leagues are classified into fifteen technical profiles and are ranked according to their level of performance.

From the data recorded for the Cypriot championship of the top category, the former Malmo FF ace is the best playmaker in the A ‘Division.

From his move to APOEL until this week, Sarfo has become very unstoppable and is considered at the moment to be a creative conductor of the blue and yellows.

The 27-year-old forward is on loan to APOEL from Olympiakos Nicosia. Following his impressive performances, sources say that there is a ready plan for the player to sign a permanent contract next summer.

It is, however, unclear whether Sarfo’s agen Nochi Hamasor will sanction a permanent APOEL deal for Kingsley Sarfo.

Sarfo recently in an interview with his club’s website set sights on winning the Cypriot League title with APOEL FC with four games remaining to end the season.

“We are well focused for this four games left,” he told APOEL FC TV. “Everybody is on their toes, we really want to take this championship, and everybody is working hard.

“Everybody is like a lion in the dressing room and I can tell you our focus is now on the next game, we have to take this three points and we are dedicated to this,” he continued.

Sarfo is currently on loan from Olympiakos Nicosia and has made eight appearances as APOEL inch close to the league title.

“The fans have been supportive. We need them and we know that with AEK, there will be even more,” Sarfo added.
