Sampson Eduku, the striker for Tamale City, has expressed his eagerness to play for the Black Stars, the national team of Ghana.

Throughout the current season of the Ghana Premier League, the 27-year-old has been the standout player for Tamale City, scoring crucial goals as they strive to avoid relegation.

With 14 goals in the ongoing Premier League, Eduku currently shares the top spot in the race for the Golden Boot with Hafiz Konkoni.

Eduku stated that he is always prepared to represent the Black Stars whenever given the opportunity. In an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, he said, “Everyone is aiming to play for his national team because you will be proud and it is good to represent your nation. I’m ever ready whenever they call me and I will be happy to join the Black Stars.”

Eduku’s exceptional performances this season have captured the attention of numerous clubs.

Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are among the teams that have shown interest in acquiring the services of the former Karela United player.

As the season comes to a close, these prominent Ghanaian clubs will likely attempt to secure the signing of Eduku to strengthen their squads for the upcoming campaign.
