Reports indicate that Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is considering a move from the Premier League to Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, who are reportedly prepared to offer him an annual salary of €10 million.
Issahaku, who played a key role in Leicester City’s promotion back to the Premier League, is still acclimating to the top-flight league. Despite an impressive start, including an assist on his Premier League debut, the financial prospect from Al Hilal presents a compelling opportunity.
Leicester City, who signed Issahaku permanently from Sporting Lisbon for €17 million earlier this summer, may be open to selling him if the offer meets their expectations.
Issahaku, who has shown flashes of his talent with six goals and 13 assists in the Championship, has a current market value of €10 million but could command a higher transfer fee.
The 21-year-old is currently with the Ghana national team for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger, which could impact the timing of any potential transfer.
