We are three months away before transfer rumours intensify in world football. Ghana’s transfer Window is many months before it opens as the season is 3 or 4 months before it comes to an end.

In a huge news emanating in the Ghanaian Media, Nhyira FM to be precise, Accra Hearts of Oak are willing to go all out to secure the signature of Ugandan speedster Stephen Mukwala whose current contract with Asante Kotoko is some few months away from expiring.

The 24-year-old who is on a $ 2,000-a-month contract expires at the end of the season. The striker and his entourage have demanded $4,000 per month as there is a renewal clause that states that if it is activated, the Ugandan will double his monthly salary.

However, Asante Kotoko are not ready and willing to meet his demands prompting Hearts of Oak to act fast to snatch him.

Kotoko is trying to woo Mukwala to renew his contract so that they can sell him and get some cash to improve their squad.

Steven Mulwala and his entourage have refused to accept Kotoko’s offer and are negotiating with Hearts of Oak as the Phobians have decided to capitalise on the situation.

The Ugandan forward has been one of the best players in the Ghana Premier League as he has scored 8 goals with just one behind the leading top scorer Isaac Mintah of Aduana Stars.
