Former Asante Kotoko winger, Robert Eshun, known as Ebo Electric, has tragically passed away in London at the age of 49.

Reports indicate that he suffered a cardiac arrest while driving to work early on Monday.

Robert Eshun is fondly remembered for his remarkable goal in the final of the 1990 FA Cup.

He initiated his career with Asante Kotoko before venturing to Belgium, where he played for Turnhot, Tielen, and Lommel in the early 1990s.

The pacey winger also had spells in the Turkish Super Lig with Gazientep and later went on to play for Sarawak in Malaysia.
