Leicester City winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, has earned a spot in the English Championship Team of the Week, following his notable contribution in the Foxes’ victory over Swansea City on Saturday.
The 18-year-old secured his first goal for Leicester in their remarkable 3-1 comeback win at the Swanseacity.com stadium.
Issahaku is accompanied in the Team of the Week by his teammate Jannik Vestergaard, along with Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters.
The lineup also features Birmingham City goalkeeper John Ruddy, Stoke City’s Luke McNally, and Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.
Currently on loan from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, Issahaku’s performance with Leicester City provides them with the option of making the deal permanent.
