FC Samartex midfield star Emmanuel Keyekeh has pledged to put in the hard work to ensure his team builds on their recent Ghana Premier League title win next season.
Speaking after their league triumph, Keyekeh expressed that the team’s success did not come as a surprise, given the dedication they showed during pre-season and training.
“We are not surprised at all with the Premier League victory. We know the work put into it during pre-season and even training. So we know, but this is not a surprise,” Keyekeh said.
The midfielder’s words of caution come as FC Samartex prepares to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season.
Keyekeh is keen to emphasize the importance of fan support in helping the team achieve success in Africa.
“The target is to keep winning games and that’s what we will do. We will keep working hard and hope the fans will support us as much as they did this season to deliver in Africa and Ghana,” he said.
