Samartex started pretty well in Dormaa Ahenkro by taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the first seventeen minutes of the game on Monday afternoon.
Nurudeen Amadou’s charges did not allow Aduana Stars, the home side, to settle into the game before they broke the deadlock in the 7th minute with a goal from the 21-year-old Baba Musah. In the 17th minute, Emmanuel Keyekeh, former Asante Kotoko midfielder doubled Samartex’s lead to stun the home supporters. Nurudeen Amadu’s Samartex worked hard and ended the first half with their 2-0 lead.

Sampson Cobbinah in the 75th minute pulled one back for the Ogya Boys but it was too late as Samartex protected their lead and ended the game with their 2-1 lead.
