Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has welcomed the signing of Sampson Eduku, praising the striker’s proven goal-scoring ability and adaptability.
Eduku has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a one-and-a-half-year contract following a standout season at Tamale City, where he scored 14 goals and provided four assists in the 2022/23 campaign.
Coach Ogum expressed confidence in Eduku’s ability to make an immediate impact, stating, “Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience. His knack for finding the back of the net and creating chances for others will bring a new dimension to our attack. We are excited to have him on board and believe he will make an immediate contribution.”
With the club’s focus on securing the Ghana Premier League title, Eduku’s addition is seen as a key boost to the squad. His experience and goal-scoring record will enhance Kotoko’s attacking depth as they push for league success.
Eduku, who has also played for Samartex and Tamale City, expressed his eagerness to join Kotoko and contribute to the club’s aspirations this season.
