Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Samuel inkoom is whipping support for the still dream’s lads ahead of the second-leg tie against Zamalek in the semifinal clash of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The current MTN FA Cup champions held the Egyptian giants to a goalless draw game at the Cairo International Stadium ahead of the second-leg this weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium. In an attempt to whip up support for the Dawu based team, Samuel Inkoom has called the clarion call for Dreams FC.
“This is the time Ghanaians have to support Dreams FC,” Inkoom emphasised, highlighting the significance of national backing for the Ghanaian representatives.
“They should stay calm, and be positive, and I think they can get the results.” the ex-Black Star defender said.
A win for the Ghanaian based side will ensure dreams FC play in the finals of the CAF Confederation cup. The last time a Ghanaian side played in the finals of any continental club competition was in 2005.
Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the inaugural finals of the CAF Confederation Cup in Kumasi on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Accra.
