Hearts of Oak made their home advantage count after beating Kotoku royals on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians inflicted a 1-0 win over Kotoku Royals in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League.

The much-anticipated game seems to have ended in a goalless draw but the Phobians proved their worth and grabbed the match-winner at the dyeing embers of the game courtesy a 96th-minute goal from Caleb Amankwaah.

After the victory, Samuel Inkoom who was an unused substitute took to his Twitter handle to congratulate his mates for the fight to win the game and also thanked the fans who made it to the stadium to rally behind them.

“Congratulations to the Team. This is the spirit; the Phobia Spirit! We never say Die until the bones are rotten !!!! We thank the supporters who trooped in to support and motivate the today’s victory. A big thank you to the Board and the Chairman, Togbe Afede for the support.”
