Samuel Obeng delivered a dramatic late winner to hand Albacete Balompié victory in their Segunda División clash against Las Palmas.
The former Ghana U23 striker, introduced with just 13 minutes remaining, made an instant impact by expertly controlling a loose ball in the box before firing home a powerful left-footed strike.
Albacete had trailed 1-0 after Taisei Miyashiro gave Las Palmas a first-half lead. However, the hosts staged a late comeback, first equalising through a penalty from Jefte Bentacor before Obeng completed the turnaround.
The goal marks Obeng’s third of the season and his first since joining Albacete from AD Ceuta FC during the winter transfer window.
The victory lifts Albacete to 14th on the table and ends a five-match winless run, with Obeng quickly establishing himself as an important figure since his January arrival.
