Just the same way Samuel was known for great deeds in the Bible, Samuel Yeboah is slowly carving a niche for himself in Ashanti Region football folklore.
The CAF License D holder has seamlessly transitioned from a right-hand man to the main coach and has been pulling down trees in the Ashanti Region Division Two League.
Coach Yeboah chalked a mammoth feat in this season’s Division Two League, recording the highest point tally in the regular season of third-tier football in the region with PRO Players Football Academy.
In 16 league games, Yeboah’s charges dropped only seven points, recording an eye-watering 41 points – winning on 13 occasions, drawing twice and losing only once.
The 41 points attained by Samuel Yeboah and PRO Players Football Academy is the highest ever recorded in the archival books of the Ashanti Region Division Two League.
He will hope to conjure the same magic in the regular season or even better in the upcoming Division Two Middle League.
Coach Samuel’s coaching philosophy is cast in the mould of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and comes as little surprise he holds Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu, who is a proponent of Guardiola’s fabled tiki-taka football, in high esteem.
