Bukiryah FC, a team from the Saudi Arabian Pro League, has officially unveil former Asante Kotoko star, Mudasiru Salifu, following an impressive four-season tenure with the Ghanaian club.

The midfielder has inked a two-year contract with the Saudi side, bidding farewell to his fruitful four-year journey with the Porcupines.

Mudasiru initially joined Asante Kotoko in 2019, leaving Berekum Chelsea to pursue new opportunities. Soon after his arrival, he quickly made a name for himself, establishing his position as one of the league’s finest players.

Throughout his time with Asante Kotoko, Mudasiru’s impact was immeasurable, both on and off the field, significantly contributing to the club’s title-winning campaign. His remarkable passion and professionalism earned him the distinction of being named vice-captain for the season.

Furthermore, he achieved great success during two loan spells at Moldovan club FC Sheriff Tiraspol, playing a pivotal role in securing a spot in the UEFA Europa League group stage, where he even had the chance to compete against the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner. Subsequently, after his loan deal expired, Mudasiru joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Batin in the Saudi Pro-League.

Mudasiru’s exceptional performances naturally attracted the attention of numerous suitors vying for his services. After extended negotiations, Asante Kotoko SC finally reached an agreement for his permanent transfer to the Middle East.
