Schalke’s sporting director, Marc Wilmots, has praised the club’s latest acquisition, Ghanaian winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei, following his transfer from Bundesliga rivals Bochum.
Wilmots highlighted Antwi-Adjei’s speed, agility, and wealth of experience, expressing confidence that the winger will be a significant asset to Schalke both on and off the pitch.
“Christopher’s style of play and his personality are a great fit for our team,” Wilmots said. “His pace and agility will add more options to our game, and his experience will benefit us greatly. He is eager to take on this new challenge and help Schalke continue moving forward.”
Antwi-Adjei, who has spent much of his career in Germany, has previously played for clubs such as Paderborn and Bochum. His contributions have been crucial in achieving promotions and maintaining Bundesliga status.
The Ghanaian international, although having a relatively limited international career, has made notable appearances for the Black Stars.
