James Kuuku Dadzie, a seasoned Ghanaian coach, has expressed his interest in taking up the technical director position at Asante Kotoko.
Currently without a coaching job after his time with Ebusua Dwarfs ended with their relegation in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, Dadzie revealed in an interview with Akoma FM that he is not keen on day-to-day coaching but is willing to serve as Kotoko’s technical advisor.
As a CAF instructor who trains coaches, Dadzie is confident that he can impact both the playing body and technical team at Kotoko if given the opportunity.
He also noted that he can handle the theoretical aspect of football coaching and has observed the goals that Kotoko is currently conceding, which he believes is due to their training regime.
“For now, I’m not keen on day to day coaching, but I have the technical expertise so as a technical advisor, I can impact both the playing body and the technical team at Kotoko if called upon”
“Football is more like schooling, we have the practical and theoretical aspects. I can deal with the theoretical aspect”
“I’m a CAF instructor who trains coaches so I will be able to impact them. I have seen the goals Kotoko is currently conceding and it’s all about their training regime” he said.
