Ghana international Joseph Paintsil says RC Genk will go into their next league game against Royals Antwerp looking to record victory as they seek to win the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Genk came from a goal down to beat Club Brugge last weekend in the first round of the Belgian top-flight Championship Round as they edged closer to winning the league title.
Paintsil was on target for the club as he registered his 15th league goal of the season to help his side edge out Brugge. In the next game, Genk face Antwerp, who are just two points behind them and the Ghanaian is confident of victory at the end of the day.
“We are really much prepared,” he told the club’s media in an interview.
“We go out like we did for Brugge to give our best for the supporters. I do believe in the love and care of the supporters and we all come together and we do believe and achieve everything that we need to achieve.”
The game against Antwerp is slated for Sunday, May 7.
