Dutch-Ghanaian winger Ernest Poku is reportedly close to completing a move to Italian Serie A club Fiorentina after attracting attention with his impressive performances at Bayer Leverkusen.
The 22-year-old attacker enjoyed a strong debut campaign in Germany, recording five goals and five assists in 29 appearances across all competitions.
Reports indicate that Poku has already agreed personal terms with Fiorentina, with negotiations between the Italian club and Bayer Leverkusen now at an advanced stage.
The proposed agreement is expected to be an initial loan deal with an option to buy, giving Fiorentina the chance to secure the winger on a permanent basis after assessing his performances.
Poku remains under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until June 2030, but he could now be set for a new challenge in Italy as he continues his development on the European stage.
