Reports from local media indicate that defender Dennis Korsah is poised to part ways with Accra Hearts of Oak after spending one and a half seasons with the club.
Apparently, the club’s current administration is dissatisfied with Korsah’s attitude and commitment, leading them to make the decision to release him before the start of the new season.
Before joining Accra Hearts of Oak, Korsah showcased an impressive performance while playing for Ebusua Dwarfs, having graduated from the University of Cape Coast. Upon his arrival, he signed a four-year contract with the Accra-based club.
During the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, the 25-year-old defender made 20 appearances for the Phobians. He also represented Ghana in the 2022 Kirin Cup Soccer, where he participated in two matches.
In the previous season, Accra Hearts of Oak finished in the 12th position in the Ghana Premier League standings, securing 46 points after 34 games.
As the club gears up for the upcoming 2023/24 football season, they are actively bolstering their squad by acquiring defender Kelvin Osei Asibey from Techiman Eleven Wonders.
