Right-back Shomari Kapombe has been named Emirate Aluminum ACP Simba Fans Player of the Month.
Kapombe has beaten center-back Henock Inonga and winger Peter Banda who advanced to the final.
Simba is one of the two biggest clubs in Tanzania, alongside cross-city rivals Young Africans.
Kapombe will be awarded Shs 2,000,000 in cash and a prize from the Emirate Aluminum ACP sponsors as a cash prize according to the club’s website.
The aim of launching the awards is to increase the commitment of the players to fight for the team to get the winning result.
