Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone has revealed that he rates Ghana star Thomas Partey ”very highly” after hailing the hardworking midfielder.
The 25-year-old impressed at the heart of midfield in Atlético’s 2-0 win at home to Getafe in LaLiga on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters Saturday’s victory against Gatafe, Simeone said the Ghanaian forward could have played have played for Premiership giants Manchester United and Manchester City.
”I rate him very highly.” The Argentine coach Said.
He continued “I liked Thomas today. He and Rodrigo [Hernández] were great.
“I think he’s improving, Thomas is an amazing player. He could have played for Manchester City, Manchester United. We’re talking about a great player here.
Partey, has scored two goals and recorded three assists in 18 LaLiga matches for his the Spanish side this season.
