A member of the Ayew family and former Ghana international Solar Ayew, says he is expecting striker Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew to play for Real Madrid or Manchester United in the coming years.
Ayew, 28, was outstanding for Crystal Palace in the just ended English Premier League season.
And according to Sola Ayew, the former Swansea City and Aston Villa forward has the requisite qualities to play for any big European club.
“I expect Jordan Ayew to play for one of the top clubs in the world like Real Madrid and Barcelona. He is able to play against Chelsea and Manchester United in the Premier League so nothing stops him,” he told Takoradi based Spice FM.
“Most at times you will need people to support you to maintain your form which in the case of Jordan, there is the Ayew family.
“Every footballer needs 25% of link in his or her career. If Jordan can double this season’s statistics next season, nothing should stop him.
“If he had played for France this would not be a problem,” he added.
Ayew, who registered 9 goals in 39 games for the South London outfit, was named Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season as well as winning the accolade for the best goal of the campaign.
The 28-year old former Swansea City attacker secured 37% of the total votes from almost 6,000 supporters to beat Vicente Guaita (28.2%) and Gary Cahill (16.7%) to scoop the top most award.
He also became the first Ghanaian player to score more goals in the English Premier League with 25 goals, one better than Leeds United colt hero Tony Yeboah.
