Kotoko Board member Dr Kofi Abban denies issuing a cheque to clear salary arrears of players

Board member for Asante Kotoko Dr Kofi Abban, has denied issuing a cheque to pay the salary arrears of players pf the club.

Reports in the media suggested the Business magnate had issued a cheque to cover the payment of the salary arrears owed the Kotoko players.

However, Mr Amoako has strongly rubbished the story in an exclusive chat with SPORTSworldGhana.com, saying it should completely be disregarded.

He however assured that steps have been taken to clear the salary arrears of the players.
