StarTimes Ghana, the official broadcast rights holders for the Ghana Premier League, have unveiled the schedule for the live broadcasts of matchday one of the 2023/2024 Premier League season.
In their announcement released on Friday, September 8, 2023, StarTimes has ambitious plans to deliver a minimum of 75 matches from the league’s first round to the Ghanaian audience.
Building on their previous seasons’ comprehensive coverage of the Ghana Premier League, featuring in-depth punditry and abundant content, the 2023/2024 season promises to elevate the league’s coverage, with StarTimes making concerted efforts to establish it as one of the best in Africa.
In line with this commitment, StarTimes is kicking off the season with an impressive telecast lineup, featuring four matches on matchday one.
The season’s inauguration will feature the clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on September 15, 2023, and this match will be broadcast live on StarTimes.
The remaining three matches of matchday one include Accra Great Olympics vs. Bofoakwa Tano on Saturday, September 16, Asante Kotoko vs. Hearts of Lions on Sunday, September 17, and Dreams FC against Nations FC, which will be played on the Wednesday of the following week.
