Ex-Ghana Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has spoken about his team’s win over their Ghanaian opponents today in Libya.
He led the Falcons of Jediane of Sudan to beat Ghana’s Black Stars 2-0 in the fourth round of games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Tuesday.
According to him, it’s unfortunate for me Ghana to because they have a good team and also that one team has to go through to the tournament in Morocco next year.
Appiah also expressed his excitement as he believes his boys had put on a smile on the faces of the Sudanese fans with the famous win over Ghana.
“It’s unfortunate for Ghana. Ghana has a good team but it’s unfortunate that only one of us can go through. I’m happy we’ve been able to put a smile on Sudanese faces.” Appiah said.
Sudan needs just a point to secure qualification to the competition proper in Morocco with just two games left to play.
