Manager of English national league side Sutton United, Matt Gray is pleased with the signing of Ghanaian striker Kwame Thomas.
Thomas played four games for Sutton in September 2017 while on loan from Coventry and Gray is elated to have him back at the club.
”Kwame’s a player I’ve liked for several years and he did extremely well against us for Wrexham in the National League and scored two goals against us up there. With Richie Bennett leaving us we need someone to come in and provide competition in the striking areas and Kwame will do that – he’s a real handful and will fit in to our style of play.” He stated.
Thomas who was the top scorer at Wrexham two seasons ago before sustaining a knee injury was not offered a new deal by the club when his contract ended this summer.
