Millwall Football Club have announced that Rafiq Lamptey has signed a new, long-term contract with the club.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who was involved with the First-Team squad during 2025/26’s pre-season, will now look to continue his development with The Lions.
Lamptey joined the club’s Under 21s at the beginning of the 2024/25 campaign and impressed in Kevin Nugent’s side, in central midfield and also at right-back, as they competed at the top of the Professional Development League for the third season running.

Rafiq’s form enabled him to step up to the First-Team squad for the training camp in Spain in July, plus numerous friendly fixtures, but an injury suffered at the beginning of this season has ruled him out of action for an indefinite period.
Lamptey will now remain a part of The Lions’ squad for the foreseeable future.
