Central Africa Republic head coach, Raoul Savoy has said that the better team lost at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Central Africa Republic on Thursday, September 7, missed out on the 2023 AFCON after losing 2-1 to Ghana in the final Group E game.
Reflecting on the game, Raoul Savoy they played better than the Black Stars even with less quality players and didn’t deserve to lose.
“Of course yes, I think today we played far better, and with quality of players you have and you cannot do this kind of show, we have small players, most of them are playing league two and I think we are far better than you guys,” Coach Raoul Savoy said at the post match conference.
Central Africa Republic finished third in Group E behind Angola who picked the second spot in the group with 9 points.
