Aboubakar Ouattara, head coach of Hearts of Oak, has acknowledged that the entire team is under immense pressure to win matches and avoid relegation.
Following their latest defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Phobians are just two points away from falling into the relegation zone.
Hearts of Oak lost 2-0 to their rivals, with Steven Mukwala scoring both goals in the matchweek 31 encounter.
With only three games left in the season, Ouattara stressed the critical need for victories to secure their place in the league.
“Personally, I am not under pressure. I am not under pressure but the team is under pressure. Don’t single me out. We are under pressure because we need more points to survive. We need the points in our three remaining games. We don’t have any choice. To get the points we must score,” Ouattara told StarTimes.
Hearts of Oak are currently in 15th position on the log with 38 points, just two points above Great Olympics, who sit in 16th place.
The Phobians will face Nations FC in matchweek 32 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, May 31.
