Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has revealed that the best moment during his career as an agent happened with former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
Amponsah oversaw over 50 Ghanaian player transfers across the globe and had the opportunity to work with some managers as well.
One of them was Redknapp, who he revealed a particular event involving him in an exclusive with Dentaa.

“The height of it was when I got in touch with Harry Redknapp and I tried to work with him on some deals. The part where I felt ‘I have arrived’ was when I was supposed to attend a meeting with Harry and he asked me to send my postcode and he drove all the way from Bournemouth to Slough to pick me up from my house to the meeting in London,” he revealed.
“I remember that day was deadline day. A lot of managers were calling him to seek his opinions on signing players and he in turn asked me for my opinion. I felt so important.”
Amponsah’s Kotoko have been camping in Sudan for pre-season.
